How it starts
Four steps, in order. At each one you know what we do, what to bring and who you hear from.
A call first. Records can wait.
Talk
- What we do
- We listen and answer your questions.
- What you bring
- Nothing yet. You do not need records.
- Who you hear from
- Our coordinator, the way you choose.
Check coverage
- What we do
- We look at your plan and explain what we find.
- What you bring
- The name of your insurance carrier.
- Who you hear from
- Our coordinator.
Meet and set goals
- What we do
- A BCBA meets your family and writes goals with you.
- What you bring
- Your ideas, and anything you want us to know.
- Who you hear from
- The BCBA.
Begin
- What we do
- Sessions are scheduled after approval.
- What you bring
- Your schedule and what works for your family.
- Who you hear from
- Our coordinator, then your child's therapist.
Timing depends on insurance approval and our schedule. We tell you what we know as soon as we know it.

Meeting your BCBA
At step three, a BCBA meets your family and writes goals with you. A BCBA is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. You can ask anything, and you can change the goals later.
Some weeks are a lot.
You do not have to carry it in one pile.
The busy week
Play and practice with your child
- Finding activities to try
- A plan that worked yesterday
Coaching and plans with you
- School meetings
- Sleep
Scheduling and paperwork with our coordinator
- Appointments
- Insurance calls
- Forms
- Waiting lists
A hard day does not mean the plan failed. We adjust it with you.
